 I'm Kelsa, an Independent Tropic Ambassador based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

My journey with Tropic and skincare in general began three years ago when I was simply looking for new skincare that would help clear up my skin. After trying the Smoothing Cleanser I was hooked, and I've not used any other skincare brand since then!

After graduating university in 2018 with an honours degree in event management, I felt so lost and had no idea what to do with my career. All I knew was that I wanted to be happy regardless of the job I ended up in. I'm now working part time in retail management and decided, after three years, to finally turn my passion into my career...

In early October 2020 I started working as an Ambassador with Tropic which has introduced me to influencer & social media marketing as a way of promoting clean, natural, vegan, and sustainable beauty & skincare. I now get to work from home and manage my time how I want, which has been so refreshing.

This blog will be a way for me to share my journey, skincare tips, and amazing products from Tropic as well as other companies. I hope you'll enjoy this journey along with me.

Professional Shampoo RUINED my Hair

  When I say that a certain professional-quality shampoo ruined my hair, I mean it ruined my hair. It's taken six weeks to get my hair back into good shape with Tropic products, but now it's never looked healthier! I figured that if my hair salon used it, it would be totally fine for me to use at home... Big yikes. Review: Perfect Skin Resurfacing Body Lotion

  I've been using Perfect skin for about a week now so I had to write up a review for it. It's one of those products that gives amazing results from day one, and if you don't believe me, try it for yourself! Perfect Skin is an exfoliator, or resurfacing body lotion. It's super moisturising whilst still being strong enough to thoroughly exfoliate the top layer of skin, getting rid of all those dead skin cells to let the new, glowing skin shine through! Similar to the Fruit Peel serum, this body lotion uses plant AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) which chemically exfoliates the skin without the need for rubbing or scrubbing. If you're like me and have somewhat sensitive skin, especially after shaving, scrubs can be too harsh and leave your skin blotchy and red - Perfect Skin doesn't do that. Why Tropic?

  For as long as I can remember, my skin has been problematic. It’s hormonal, sensitive, and the slightest feeling of stress has me breaking out. I tried countless products over the years — including the brands that cost an arm and a leg — and nothing was working for my skin. Although other people would tell me that my skin wasn’t that bad, I felt it was! It’s hard to be confident and comfortable when you feel like your skin hates you. I ended up coming across a company called Tropic Skincare through my mum. She’d tried a few products as they were vegan and cruelty free, so I decided to give it a go as well. The first product I used was the Smoothing Cleanser and I instantly fell in love!
