Why Tropic?

For as long as I can remember, my skin has been problematic. It’s hormonal, sensitive, and the slightest feeling of stress has me breaking out. I tried countless products over the years — including the brands that cost an arm and a leg — and nothing was working for my skin. Although other people would tell me that my skin wasn’t that bad, I felt it was! It’s hard to be confident and comfortable when you feel like your skin hates you.

I ended up coming across a company called Tropic Skincare through my mum. She’d tried a few products as they were vegan and cruelty free, so I decided to give it a go as well. The first product I used was the Smoothing Cleanser and I instantly fell in love! It melted make up off without stripping my skin, and most importantly, it gave me a thorough clean without breaking me out.

From there I tried serums, exfoliators, moisturisers, body care... Within a few weeks I was absolutely hooked! I'd often wondered if the hype surrounding Tropic was just that, but all the products I've used to date do exactly what they promise.

What's even more great to hear is that Tropic as a company do some amazing work. Not only are they vegan and cruelty free but they're certified by PETA, The Vegan Society, and Cruelty Free International. Tropic are also one of very few companies, especially in the beauty industry, that are carbon neutral, going as far as offsetting their emissions by double! In 2019 they sent zero waste to landfill - can you imagine if this was the standard across the whole beauty industry?! Not only are Tropic caring for our environment but they also work with countless charities and organisations to help protect, educate, and empower people in less fortunate circumstances.

When you buy a Tropic product you are doing so much good, not just for your skin, but for the world and those we share it with.

By signing up as an Ambassador I get to share my passion for Tropic, their products, and their ethos of 'doing good beyond beauty'. I think that while the products and results are crucial, a company's ethics and mission are equally as important.

Why Tropic? Well, isn't it obvious?
