3 Easy Skincare Swaps
You don't have to ditch your whole routine to start treating your skin better. I know for a lot of people building an entire new routine can be costly, so here are three easy ways to swap your current skincare for a Tropic product!
1. Scrap the make up wipes
Make up/face wipes may be designed to remove make up, but are they even doing that effectively? Hint: probably not. They're also not formulated to actually cleanse the skin, so even after you've removed the make up, your skin still hasn't been properly cleansed. Used daily these wipes can cause more damage to your skin than you'd think, and they have a habit of drying the skin out. Not only that but they pile up at landfill which isn't great for the environment. Considering the UK uses around 11 million of these per year, that very quickly adds up when they don't biodegrade!

Smoothing Cleanser | £18
Our Smoothing Cleanser is suitable for all skin types and comes in an unscented version for those with the most sensitive skin. It removes even the toughest waterproof make up and going back in with a second cleanse will help eliminate break outs caused by blocked pores... Something make up wipes can't do!
2. Stop closing your pores with water
Closing your pores after cleansing helps stop excess dirt and bacteria, as well as make up, from getting in and causing spots. I know a lot of people who do this by splashing their face with cold water after cleansing, but why not just use a product that closes your pores whilst also giving you a boost of vitamins? Cold water can make your skin dry, and it also washes off all the goodness left by your cleanser.

Vitamin Toner | £14
Our toner is refreshing, soothing, and adds a boost of minerals to your skin... Much more beneficial than cold water! It's also a great way to add a little bit of extra hydration into your routine.
3. Please stop peeling masks off your skin
For some reason peel off face masks became really popular recently. If used regularly they can cause way more harm to your skin than good! When you peel them off you're literally peeling off parts of your skin and it can cause irritation, redness, and actually result in more break outs. We've been fed this idea that 'pulling out' our blackheads is the best method of removing them, but just use an effective cleanser and skin-safe face mask regularly to prevent these pores from becoming blocked.

Clear Skin Blemish Fighting Mask | £20
You can use this mask once or twice a week on the areas of your skin that you find break out most often. It's super effective at calming down existing break outs, and taking it off won't rip off your delicate skin...
See, three easy swaps you can make that will make a big difference to your skin.
